The tender for a commercial and residential site at Holland Road launched on 30th Nov 2017. The site is located near Holland Village MRT Station and is expected to house 570 units. The maximum gross floor area is 59,715 square metres, of which up to 13,500 sq m can be for retail use.
The Holland Road site is launched under the confirmed list of the second-half 2017 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme. Unveiled in the Master Plan 2014, the Holland Road parcel for mixed use comes as the first sale site to be launched as part of the Holland Village Extension plan.
Because the design quality of the new development @ Holland Road that is critical to set Holland Village apart as a distinctive and endearing Identity Node, the URA will adopt a concept and price revenue tender system to evaluate the tenders received for the commercial and residential site at Holland Road.
Ms Christine Li, director of research for Cushman & Wakefield said that there will be eight to 12 bids for Holland Road mixed-use spite. From medical suites and serviced apartments to residential units, there are many possible concepts that could be implemented," she also added, "In the past, it was not uncommon to submit two different concepts in order to increase the chance of being shortlisted... we could see some keen interest among large-scale developers,"
